Our Founder
Duane Boniface
Our founder brings over 35 years of expertise in engineering, analytics, leadership and management. A graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy and the University of California at Berkeley, Duane is well-grounded in a variety of technical domains, including maritime, offshore energy, defense, intelligence and consumer products. His public sector contributions include leadership positions at the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, where he led national and international technical, regulatory and compliance issues, including creating the first version of the Coast Guard's Risk Based Decision-Making Guidelines and contributing to the development of Formal Safety Assessment at the International Maritime Organization. His private sector contributions include leading efforts to improve analytics for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and intelligence community, including risk analysis and experimentation.
